As the New York Chapter President - I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for visiting our Website and your interest in our organization. As you view our site you will find useful information that we hope will stimulate and educate. Besides those links which are helpful to veterans, you will also find links to the National Organizations which will guide you through the legacy which is Montford Point. If you are a service member (Active, Reserve, Retired) we invite you to join us at one of our meetings. Your experience means something and can be a valuable asset to this organization and it's programs. Our strength has been our ability to attract new members and leaders who share in the social responsibility, to assure the continued legacy of this historic organization. Obviously we can not achieve this alone. Every opportunity is made to express and educate those significant contributions made by so many..... This year's Annual Dinner
Dance held November 11th at Antun's - we were fortunate to have as our Guest of
Honor MPMA National
President Mr. Joseph Geeter, and long time friend and supporter of the of the
New York Chapter and Association

Mario LaPaix As well as speaking to the attendee's on the current State of the Association, Mr. Geeter spoke to efforts underway to pursue via Congress further recognition of the "original Montford Pointers" and that of a National Postal Stamp. Although a long way off the struggle is continuing - Here they are presenting the 2007 National Man of the Year Award. Both our Military Guest and
National President were able to re-present several awards to members Also in attendance were representatives from The Dept of Homeland Security, Philadelphia Chapter, New Jersey State Assembly, various Military branches and a vast array of community friends, family and associates. I would also like to extend my profound thanks to the many supporters of this year's Annual Dinner Journal. As part of the Northern Region which includes; Boston (Roxbury Mass), and Philadelphia/Delaware area we continue to seek opportunities to expand our presence and improve our relationships.
